MEDIA PRESS RELEASE :  For Immediate Release

 

 FROM:    Chief Chris Holmes, Pine Township Engine Company

RE:     Line of Duty Death, Bradley Paul Holmes:  Funeral Information

Funeral home visitation will be held at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, Mercer County, at the following times: 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Friday.

 

There will be a Fire Fighter Memorial Service on Friday, March 7 at 7:00 pm at Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.  Fire Departments wishing to send representatives to the Fire Fighter Memorial Service should assemble at the Fellowship Community Church, 309 North Broad St, Grove City PA 16127, no later than 6:15 PM.  Participants will proceed via group foot procession to the funeral home.  (4 blocks). 

 Fire Departments wishing to send representatives to the Funeral on March 8 should arrive at Grove City College Physical Learning Center (PLC)No later than 12:00 pm on Saturday. 

Apparatus arriving for the service will be directed through traffic control points to the appropriate staging area.  On collusion of the service the processional will travel north from the college to the cemetery via PA route 173 north.  Units will proceed north on route 173 for ½ mile to access Interstate 80.   From the intersection of I80 they may travel east to access PA Route 8 and west to access Interstate 79.

 

The committal service and fellowship meal will be limited to family and immediate friends.

 

The men and women of Station 85 wish to thank each of you for your prayers of support, offers of kindness and sincere friendship.   Though our firefighters will spend this time with the Holmes family, our house will be open to visitors who wish to stop by for fellowship.  To locate after the procession take I80 east to route 8 south to route 208 west.
