0015 hrs this morning Station 85 was alerted for an MVA with entrapment, vehicle into a house with  possible fire.  Mercer 911 received reports of 2 people that were unconcious.  Chief 85 arrived on scene to find a vehicle into a house with steam coming from the engine compartment with no fire.  Chief 85 advised 2 pts still in the vehicle which were unconcious.  Engine 85 arrived on scene with a crew of 5 and quickly went to work.  Engine 85 pulled a 1 1 3/4 for precaution.  Medic 110 arrived shortly after to do a quick pt. assessment and made the call to do a quick load and go for the driver of the vehicle. Squad 85 arrived on scene along with Medic 107 to assist with the pt. extrication.  Pt. was removed from the vehicle within minutes and was loaded into Medic 107.  The passenger of the vehicle was assesed by the second EMS unit, Medic 105 and obtained a refusal.  Minimal structural damaged occured to the residence.  Station 85 units operated on scene approximately 1 1/2 hrs on scene before returning to service.
